Problem & Approach
During the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses and public spaces needed a fast, contactless way to detect high temperatures and prevent the spread of illness. Traditional temperature checks were slow, required close contact, and posed safety risks. To address this, we developed AptaTermal (now Descotin), an AI-powered thermal detection system that enables real-time, automated temperature screening.
