Instagram comment-to-DM automation SaaS. A tool that connects Instagram pages to automatically send DMs when users comment specific keywords. Features a visual builder, real-time phone preview, and Firebase + Next.js stack with Meta Webhook integrations.
Problem & Approach
Creators and e-commerce brands on Instagram spend hours manually replying to comments to send product links or lead magnets. This process is unscalable, resulting in missed conversions and poor engagement. Existing automation tools are either too complex for ordinary creators or lack an intuitive visual setup.
Solutions & Impact
EditormuDM automates the comment-to-DM loop. By providing a clean 'Easy Builder' with live phone preview, users can visually connect specific comment keywords to automated DM responses. Under the hood, it securely integrates with Meta's Graph API and Webhooks to listen for new comments and immediately fire customized messages to the commenter's inbox, boosting sales with zero manual effort.
Learning & Reflection
This project involved integrating deeply with Meta's Graph API and webhook systems, requiring robust security measures like validating webhook signatures. It expanded my full-stack capabilities, particularly in combining Next.js with Firebase Auth & Firestore, as well as developing a responsive, state-heavy UI that perfectly mirrors the Instagram mobile experience during automation setup.
